Life Moments of a Woman 2010

I have always enjoyed sculpting the female figure. The curves and lines are so fluid. In this series however, I am studying more than the form. I am attempting to depict an emotion through facial expression, body form, background, and/or color on a two dimensional surface. This collage studies depicting some of the diverse emotions, experiences, and life moments of women. I found that these figurative pieces challenged me more than the purely abstract work I've done, but it was a learning process, as is life.
